All access to the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women is controlled by the Iowa Department of Corrections. Because the safety of all inmates and visitors is the primary concern of the ICIW Staff, their policy on access to the ICIW facility is as follows, "all worship visitors and volunteers [are required] to be in good enough physical condition to travel this distance [between the Entrance of the facility and the Sacred Place] without physical assistance, or assistive devices, in order to enter the facility."

We are currently not able to go inside the prison for worship
